PIUMA supporting the members on medication,
For couple of months we’ve been supporting our members to attain hospital service at right time.
Recently we’ve sent a patient to Makete hospital. We met the patient at Utanziwa village. She was actually sick suffering from chronic cough for long time, she was unable even to walk, on arrival on Makete she undergone medical check up and sent to ward where she has been admitted in female ward. Now she’s doing fine.
She has been suffering for long time without going to hospital because of financial constraint ,then PIUMA supported her to get access to the hospital, just giving her little money and escort from clinical officer.
