PIUMA to attend the presidential visit in Makete.
The president of United Republic of Tanzania, Hon Jakaya Mrisha Kikwete is reported to have a visit in Makete district on 03 Aug 08.The main themes of his visit are not yet clear but amongst his plan of visiting the country in general.
PIUMA as part of Makete residents has got some thing to address to the president. Ms Wema Sanga the PIUMA vice secretary leading the rest to advocacy on the quality of health service to PLWHAs and other related fields if she‘ll get the chance to express.
The whole district of Makete is eager on that occasion, the local government, DHO etc, etc, extremely busy, roads, streets, and town are kept in hygienic manner.
Get ready for the events, till then!

It is lovely to hear that the president will be visiting Makete. Being one of the most affected with HIV/AIDS the president must discuss the trend of the pandemic and how to solve the problem one would guess.
One thing I will not be surprised to hear is the District governmental official will not allow PIUMA to meet the president. I will be surprised because PIUMA being one of the PLWHA groups that is fighting the disease on the ground they should be having right and correct answers to the problem.
PIUMA should not loose it spirit, by their volunteerism had proved to have solved problem of many.
