PIUMA -HIMA VCT ON WORKING!

GET TESTED AT PIUMA –HIMA VCT!

After long struggle  to make the VCT service on working   the Hima VCT resume the service on voluntary testing on 09/09/2008.It was planned to began on 02 september.but was postponed due to the National campain on measle eradication to under five children.

It’s a great news to people of Bulongwa and nearby, they were eagerly to be tested but the service was not available.

Talking to PIUMA staff the divisional officer of Bulongwa thanks the PIUMA team for their effort to resume service at bulongwa.

The service at the centre is going to be conducted on special days .it was planned to be going on Tuesday,Wednesday.and Friday.

This duty is going  to performed by nurse counsellors,Ms kabelege,Ms Potania and  in close collaboration with the clinical officer.

Since the mobile VCT is also among the plan of PIUMA organization, we expect to start at the end of next week after completion of important information from the village and simple survey.
